Dr. Denise P. Ling has worked in the area of federal programs for 24 of her 34 years in education. She is the director of federal & state programming for the 38,000-student Berkeley County School District, in South Carolina. She has been an active member of the South Carolina Title One Administrators Association for 24 years and held each of its offices. She has been an active member of the National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators for 20 years where she has served as the South Carolina representative on the board of directors and has served as the national president for three terms. She serves on the South Carolina Committee of Practitioners and the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) Federal Programs and Grants Roundtable.
Dr. Ling is dedicated to the vision and leadership of her district and the impact that ESEA grant programs can make for the students, schools, and families she serves.
