Classrooms are the "third teacher" behind parents and educators. Study shows the design of the learning environment has impact on 25% of learning outcomes. However, the pandemic exposed an ugly truth that our current model of hybrid learning is built on a shoddy foundation. Learning-friendly virtual classrooms, instead of conferencing solutions, are thus called for. In the meantime, newly return-to-school teachers now desire more flexibility and autonomy over how and where they teach—a trend consistent with the rest of the working population.
